ABOUT US

The Sports Students Federation (SSF), founded on 29th August 2023, fights for the rights of sports students and PETs/PDs. We stand for fair recruitment, better infrastructure, and equal opportunities in sports.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to fight for the rights of sports students and physical education professionals (PETs & PDs) by ensuring fair recruitment, transparent eligibility in DSC, and proper recognition of their contributions. We aim to build a strong foundation for sports in India by demanding compulsory PETs, PDs, and playgrounds in every school and college, and creating opportunities for every athlete to succeed.

OUR VISSION

Our vision is to build a future where sports and education go hand in hand — a  where every school has qualified PETs and PDs with proper sports infrastructure, every talented athlete gets fair opportunities, and sports is valued as a path of discipline, health, and progress, with students’ voices shaping policy.

Why It Matters

Across Nation, thousands of sports students, Physical Education Teachers (PETs), and Physical Directors (PDs) are waiting for jobs and fair opportunities. Many of them have dedicated their youth to sports, representing schools, colleges, and even the state — yet they remain unemployed or under-recognized.

Without timely recruitment and fair policies, their hard work and talent go to waste, and the younger generation loses faith in sports as a career. This is not just about jobs — it is about dignity, recognition, and the future of sports in our state.

The Sports Students Federation believes that every student athlete deserves a fair chance, and every school deserves qualified PETs and PDs to guide children. By standing together, we ensure that sports is not sidelined, but respected as an essential part of education and nation-building.
